Using the Inventory Dashboard

  • You can narrow down this Dashboard by Region, Location, and Through Date.

Setting Up Products in Fast-Weigh Inventory

When using it for the first time, the Inventory screen will appear blank. Before data will show in the Inventory tables, you must set which products you want to track.

Setting up Products

  • Navigate to the Products page by going to Resources > Products > Products & Pricing.
  • Go to the Product Setup tab.
  • Find the Product you want to track inventory for under the Product Listing table and click on it (it will turn green).
  • Navigate to the Product Locations table and add or edit a Product Location.
  • Check the Track Inventory box.
  • Repeat this for all products you wish to track.
    • You may also track Cost Per Unit and any Royalty fees your company may have.

Using the Inventory Page

  • To view your product(s), choose a Through Date and click Refresh.
  • Select a Product (It will turn green).
  • Click the [+New ] button below the table to set your starting inventory.
    • Choose Set Inventory as the Entry Type.
    • Set the Date the inventory was received.
    • Add any References or Notes needed.
    • Type in the starting Quantity.
    • Click Update to save.
  • Once you enter your first Set Inventory, any further manual adjustments will need to be done through Adjustments or Receiving Entries.
    • Note: Only re-Set Inventory if you want to re-start tracking from the date and quantity set on the new Set Inventory.

Making Adjustments to Your Inventory

Once Inventory is set up for a Product, the Inventory module will start tracking the product's inventory as you ticket for Outbound or Inbound orders. Clicking the Tickets tab gives a closer look at your outgoing and incoming product.

  • Creating tickets for Inbound Orders will add to your inventory as incoming product
  • Creating tickets for Outbound Orders will remove product inventory from your inventory.

Aside from automatic adjustments made during ticketing, you can also make manual adjustments to your inventory.

  • On the Inventory Screen, click on a product and then use the [+New] button to add a new adjustment.
  • Choose Adjustment from the drop-down menu.
    • Enter a positive number in the Quantity field to add incoming product to your inventory.
    • To remove product from the inventory, use a negative quantity (example: -150).
    • For deliveries specifically, you can use the Receiving option in the drop-down menu to add product to your inventory.
