QuickStart Guide to Building Your Web Portal

Fast-Weigh Web Portal

Our Support Team is available to walk you through every step of your Fast-Weigh install, but if you're looking for a quick setup, here's a simple, step-by-step guide to building your Web Portal from the ground-up.

Set up your Locations

These are your quarry or pit locations operating within a given Region. Typically, you will create one Location per Fast-Weigh ticketing license.


Add your Billing Terms

Pay Terms and tax codes must be created before Customers can be added or imported.

Pay Terms can be found under Resources> Billing> Pay Terms


Add Tax Codes

Tax Codes can be found Resources> Billing> Tax Code

Terms and tax codes must be created before Customers can be added or imported.


Add your Customers

Your Customer Names must match what is set in your accounting system if you will be exporting invoices. 


Create Products

Set up Default Product Pricing

*Orders cannot be created until you've set default product pricing for each of your Locations.

You can set up products under Resources> Products> Products & Pricing


Set up your Haulers

Haulers can also be created up from the desktop ticketing application .



Build Orders

Now that you have locations, tax codes, customers, products, and default product pricing, you can create orders using these resources.

*Orders must exist in order to run tickets.


Create Device IDs for each Location

Device IDs and PINs must be set up before installing any ticketing applications for PC or Mobile.



Once the above steps are complete you should be ready to set up your desktop ticketing app and begin running tickets.
